Wow has it been that long since I posted last? I guess so, well it'll be eight weeks on Wednesday, assuming of course I make it till then. Long day today, no drinking though.

Day 48

I went to Soho to buy a Mother's Day card because I had a coupon for 20% off, the subway fare was more than the savings... I stopped in at the Apple store while I was there, oooh I could spend some money in that place! I'm making biscotti this afternoon, I gotta stay busy.

Two meetings tonight back to back, I think I'll just hit the beginner's meeting at 8:30. I had a serious moment while in Manhattan, like it's ok to drink outside of Brooklyn or something, I made it home safe though.

A little saner, another day sober.

Day 47

I think it's gonna be hard to keep this up everyday, the blogging thing I mean. I do it for myself I guess, not bad therapy really. I know lots of AA's keep journals, this is sort of like that.

Well the weekend was great, I'm officially hooked on coconut macaroons though, could be worse.

Still sober, that's all that matters at the moment. Wish I had something more to say, I was told today that the fact that I detoxed without medical supervision and didn't suffer from DT's was odd, I don't know..
